The saga continues!

As I mentioned earlier in my comments on The Eye of the World, this is my second time through this series of books, this time devoured in audio form while running. The Wheel of Time is just as captivating as I remembered.

This time through, I noticed how much everything is connected. The a-ha moments are not so much about plot surprises (although I do remember some of them), but about how the various plot threads interweave and overshadow one another. Robert Jordan truly is a master at this. Far from spoiling the read, knowing the big reveal moments before they happen sharpen the hints and foreshadowing.

The Great Hunt finds our trilogy of taveren, along with their companions, split up, wandering across the world. The next prophecy comes into focus and Rand will be there.
