Happy New Year! As we all begin the annual tradition of breaking our New Year’s Resolutions, let’s remember one sure-fire way to grow. In her book on The Liturgical Year, Chittister notes:
Suffering is a stepping-stone to maturity. It moves us beyond fantasy to facts. We know now that everything in life will not go our way.
